About
About Us | The Irving Collaboration
Building People. Strengthening Neighborhoods.
Empowering Walnut Park through technology, training, and teamwork.
Who We Are
The Irving Collaboration (TIC) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Walnut Park, St. Louis, Missouri.
We exist to bridge the digital and opportunity gap by providing technology education for seniors, job-readiness training for adults, and community rebuilding programs that uplift families and strengthen neighborhoods.
Our belief is simple — when people are empowered, communities are transformed.
Our Mission
To empower individuals and families through education, technology, and opportunity, helping them build sustainable futures while restoring pride and unity in our community.
Our Vision
A thriving Walnut Park where residents of all ages are digitally skilled, economically stable, and actively engaged in shaping a better future for their neighborhood.
Our Story
The Irving Collaboration was founded by Dr. T. D. Irving, a lifelong resident of Walnut Park and community leader dedicated to transforming challenges into opportunities.
After seeing firsthand how many seniors struggled to keep up with technology and how many adults lacked digital job skills, Dr. Irving launched TIC to provide free and affordable training, career readiness support, and hands-on community improvement projects.
Our main facility — located at 5478 Gilmore Avenue — is being developed into a Community Empowerment Center, a place where residents can learn, grow, and connect.

Excellent 👏—an Activity Page will make your website feel alive and credible. It shows donors, residents, and partners that The Irving Collaboration is already doing the work in the community.
Below is a full “Activities & Community Impact” page draft.
It’s organized into two sections — Community Events and Children’s Classes — for 2024–2025, with space to keep adding future activities and photos.
